We invite you to enjoy the quiet beauty of Central Appalachia. Jubilee House Retreat Center is located in the beautiful
highlands of southwest Virginia on the edge of the historic town of Abingdon. Its gentle pastoral setting provides a peaceful
environment for those seeking renewal, rejuvenation and reflection.
Built in the Jubilee Year 2000 by order of Bishop Walter Sullivan, Jubilee House is owned and
operated by the Catholic Diocese of Richmond, but warmly welcomes people of all faith traditions. We are blessed with
an extensive local Ecumenical Board working in collaboration with the director to create an atmosphere of hospitality and
peacefulness.
Jubilee House sponsors retreats
on a variety of spiritual topics. Individuals or groups are welcome for day use or overnight meetings and programs. In addition,
Spiritual Direction is available upon request. Whether it be Civic groups, Organizational Meetings, Conferences, Workshops,
Planning sessions, Healing or Recovery Retreats or Youth Groups, we strive to accommodate your needs in a memorable and attentive
manner.
