Poustinia is our one efficiency room located in Sabbath Lodge, where you are supplied a
small refrigerator, toaster, microwave as well simple meals, coffee, tea and water allowing you to take a private retreat in the solitude of Jubilee House.
It has a double bed and a prayer nook. You are welcome to use the entire center provided we have no programs in-house at the

The
Meditation Room surrounded
by hand painted icons of St Brigid, Mother Theresa and the Last Supper, offers a prayerful setting nestled in a corner of
Sullivan Commons for individual, group prayer and/or liturgy around the Celtic Cross.
The Meditation Garden is at the center of our contemplative home with walkways serenely
taking you through two patios providing mountain views enhancing your setting for reflection, prayer or conversation. Simply
rest in the quiet on one of the benches overlooking Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto or the hills of horses, while relaxing in one
of the many rocking chairs waiting for you.
The Cretan Labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and
the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. The Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out
into the world. Labyrinths have long been used as meditation and prayer tools, we are blessed to have one on our back hill.
Spirit Lodge and Sabbath
Lodge

and farmers while being guided by any requests or concerns you may have for your group. The Bookstore on site has a variety of Christian books on Prayer, Mediation, Bible Study, Personal
Retreats, and many selections on how to nurture your spiritual journey, also various meditative CD's as well as limited cards.
A Commitment To The Environment From
its inception, Jubilee House has been committed to a deep respect for the natural environment. This is reflected in the building
design and materials. All interior wood finishes are products of the local sustainable forestry program and locally-quarried
stone work enhances both interior and exterior building finishes. We make a conscious effort to avoid the wasteful use of
paper, plastic and Styrofoam products as a further expression of this commitment. In standing true to these values we make
every effort to use local produce, meats, coffee and tea's in order to help sustain the wonderful community we live in, as
well our cleaning products are 'green' and we strive to recycle, compost and re-use as we are able.
